Rikaab vs DotPe

A commerce platform that gives restaurants a storefront, payments and ordering, usually paid through commissions rather than a subscription. Here is how the two differ for an Indian restaurant that needs GST-correct billing, a fast counter and online orders — including where DotPe is the better fit.

Questions people ask

Commission or subscription — which is cheaper?

At low volume, a commission model costs little. Once a restaurant does a few hundred online orders a month, a percentage of each order usually exceeds a flat ₹999 a month. Rikaab charges no commission on orders from your own website.

Does Rikaab give me a storefront like DotPe?

Rikaab powers ordering on your own website through its partner API (your developer, or a one-page template, calls it). DotPe hosts the storefront for you. If you have no website and no one to build one, DotPe’s hosted page is the faster start; if you want ordering under your own brand and domain, Rikaab is built for that.

Can I keep DotPe for the storefront and use Rikaab for billing?

Yes — many restaurants run a storefront or aggregator for demand and a POS for the counter and GST. Rikaab records those orders as bills so your GSTR-1 stays complete.
